Fundraising Coordinator

Position: Administrative Assistant (Fundraising). Location: Midtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid). Salary: $22-$24 per hour. Job Type: 5-month contract with potential for extension. Posting Type: Open vacancy.

We are recruiting on behalf of our non-profit client for a Administrative Assistant (Fundraising) to join their team in Toronto. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong administrative, data entry, and customer service skills who wants to support meaningful fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for fundraising programs, including events, monthly giving, and major gifts.
• Accurately enter and maintain donor information in databases.
• Assist with donation processing, deposits, reconciliation, and charitable receipting.
• Update donor records with communications, event details, and sponsor information.
• Contact monthly donors to obtain updated credit card information as needed.
• Maintain files, mailing lists, and inventory of printed materials and promotional products.

Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce and/or SQL is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SQL is an asset.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of donation processing, CRA regulations, basic accounting, or French is an asset.
