Junior Project Quotation Specialist Nanaimo

Contribute to key projects in Nanaimo, British Columbia as a Junior Project Quotation Specialist. Collaborate closely with contractors and suppliers to deliver precise quotations for major projects.
Reporting to the Business Centre Manager, you will work to provide accurate quotations while managing customer orders and ensuring strong communication with all stakeholders. Your role involves pro-active problem-solving and maintaining expert knowledge on product lines to support project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with projects team and sales representatives
• Manage customer purchase orders for completion
• Track project progress and address issues proactively
• Liaise with customers to establish project requirements
• Negotiate pricing and sales terms with vendors
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education is required
• Five years' experience in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
