Job description
Lead March Break camp activities with the Municipality of Clarington while supervising children, supporting safety, and creating welcoming programs.
The Community Services Division seeks staff for March Break day camps from March 15 through March 19, 2027. This front-line position includes sports, kinder, junior, and discovery programs. You will plan activities, supervise participants, communicate with families, and support healthy child development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement daily camp activities and events
- Supervise participants onsite and during field trips
- Ensure participant safety throughout camp programming
- Maintain accurate attendance figures and weekly statistics
- Assist with volunteer supervision and communication
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 16 years
- Maturity, responsibility, and leadership qualities
- Experience providing positive leadership to children
- Excellent customer service experience
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
