Pharmacy Assistant Prescription Services

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will greet patients, confirm prescription information, and support accurate medication dispensing. Your work includes patient care data entry, third-party adjudication when necessary, and prescription pickup handling. You will also maintain stock through inventory control systems and answer general over-the-counter enquiries, referring patients to the Pharmacist when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and confirm pertinent prescription information
• Enter patient care information accurately

• Support accurate prescription medication dispensing
• Handle prescription pickup and pharmacy stock maintenance

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Assistant experience is an asset

• Strong communication skills with demonstrated customer service
• Proficient computer and data entry skills
• Flexibility for days, evenings, nights, and weekends
