Human Resources Safety Lead

Human Resources and occupational health and safety expertise define this Lead role at Clarence Farm Services across Atlantic Canada. Coordinate people programs and workplace compliance.

As Human Resources and Health and Safety Lead, you will manage recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits, and employee relations support. You will also support safety programs, incident processes, training records, and compliance documentation. The role serves Clarence Farm Services and its agricultural operations across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, and Newfoundland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate job postings, interviews, recruitment, and onboarding
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and reporting
• Support benefits, performance management, and employee relations
• Coordinate safety orientation, training records, and communications
• Track incidents, claims, investigations, and corrective actions

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field
• Two-plus years as an HR Generalist or HR Coordinator
• Occupational health and safety program experience is an asset
• Knowledge of provincial employment and compliance standards
• Microsoft Office and Dayforce proficiency
