Children’s Disability Support Worker

Support children with disabilities as a casual Children’s Outreach Worker in Wainwright, providing one-to-one care and flexible family support.

Catholic Social Services seeks replacement workers for its Children’s Outreach Program. This position supports children and families through parental support, family empowerment, skill building, and recreational activities. Successful candidates work independently with children who have varied disabilities while contributing as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support for children with disabilities
• Support parents and assist with family empowerment
• Lead skill-building and recreational activities
• Work independently with children having varied disabilities
• Participate as part of a team

Requirements:

• Vehicle and valid Class 5 driver’s licence
• Transport clients using your personal vehicle
• Provide current driver’s abstract and vehicle insurance
• Provide registration for the insured vehicle
• Complete required vulnerable sector and child intervention checks
