As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will greet patients, confirm prescription information, and enter patient care details. You will also support third party adjudication, prescription pickup, inventory control, and general over-the-counter enquiries. Experience is an asset, while organization, detail orientation, communication, computer skills, and customer service are important.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and confirm pertinent prescription information
• Enter patient care information accurately
• Complete third party adjudication when necessary
• Dispense prescription medications accurately
• Maintain pharmacy stock through inventory control systems

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Assistant experience is an asset
• Excellent organizational and detail orientation skills
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated customer service
• Proficient computer and data entry skills
• Flexibility for varied hours, including weekends
