Employee Relations Human Resources Generalist

Shape employee relations and performance management as a Human Resources Generalist supporting Fresh Start Foods divisions in Richmond, BC, five days in office.

This full-time, permanent position partners with Senior HR Management to deliver professional Human Resources services. The work spans employee relations coaching, performance management, benefits, training, onboarding, recruitment, employment compliance, and diversity and inclusion. The role also interprets HR metrics and supports leadership decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic employee relations coaching to leadership
• Educate leaders on performance management practices
• Interpret turnover, hiring, diversity, and other HR metrics
• Support benefits enrollment, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
• Administer Workers Compensation, disability, and leave processes

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of Human Resources experience
• Food manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong presentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of current Human Resources trends and developments
• Fluency in Punjabi, Hindi, or Tagalog is a strong asset
