Reporting to the Network Administrator, this non-managerial position supports the City of Lacombe’s data, reporting, analytics, and solution development initiatives. You will maintain established services while developing applications, automation, and AI-enabled solutions. The work supports efficient municipal service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve established data and reporting services
- Build reports, dashboards, and applications addressing business problems
- Develop application, automation, and AI-enabled solution capabilities
- Balance recurring operational work with development priorities
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and adapt to community needs
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in a relevant technology or analytics discipline
- Two years of related data, reporting, database, or development experience
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Strong Excel skills and Microsoft 365 familiarity
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences
