Senior Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

Lead accounts receivable collections in Woodbridge, Ontario, using customer communication and aging analysis to secure timely payments. Work Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This permanent, full-time senior position supports an established transportation-industry accounting team. Manage customer portfolios, follow overdue invoices, and resolve billing issues independently. Use payment terms, collection strategies, Microsoft Excel, and the proprietary TEDS system while coordinating with accounting and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned customer accounts and monitor outstanding balances
• Review aging reports and prioritize delinquent accounts
• Conduct collection calls and electronic payment follow-ups
• Investigate billing disputes and invoice discrepancies
• Coordinate account resolution with internal departments

Requirements:

• Three to five years of relevant collections experience
• Experience independently managing customer account portfolios
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of aging reports and basic accounting principles
• Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency
