Bilingual Mortgage Lending Specialist

Mortgage lending expertise and relationship sales define this BMO Mortgage Specialist role. Support clients in French and English while developing financing opportunities.

As a Mortgage Specialist, you will build referral networks, identify sales opportunities, and guide customers through home financing applications. You will partner with branch teams, support marketing programs, and connect clients with appropriate BMO partners. The position requires mortgage lending knowledge, regulatory awareness, and strong customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage referral networks generating mortgage business
• Guide customers through mortgage applications and processing
• Develop marketing and sales programs supporting business results
• Partner with branches to complete mortgage documentation
• Resolve or escalate issues during customer service activities

Requirements:

• Three to five years of relevant experience typically
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
• In-depth mortgage lending and regulatory requirements knowledge
• Strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in French and English
