Service Manager Training Program

Build leadership capability through Groundworks’ six-month Service Manager training program, gaining hands-on experience across service operations, customer service, and branch performance.

The Service Manager in Training develops technical, operational, financial, and leadership skills under Service Manager and branch leadership guidance. You will partner with Service Technicians and Service Advisors while learning team leadership, sales performance, customer relationships, and profitability. Successful completion prepares you for promotion into a Service Manager position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete training modules and demonstrate leadership competency
• Support daily service department management
• Coach technicians and advisors toward performance
• Monitor productivity, quality, satisfaction, and metrics
• Support scheduling, workflow, inventory, and branch operations

Requirements:

• Two to four years of leadership experience
• Leadership experience in home services, operations, or related industries preferred
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Willingness to travel during training and relocate
