Industrial PCP Medic Remote Camp

Support crew health as an Industrial PCP Medic at a remote camp near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Bring assessment, treatment, and emergency response skills.

This assignment suits Primary Care Paramedics supporting drilling and construction activities. Phase one covers access road construction, while phase two supports a remote camp or lease. Daily shifts run 12 to 13 hours, with one medic responsible for up to two rigs and ACP support available onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess on-site personnel and initiate treatment when required
• Provide first aid and immediate emergency response within scope
• Submit daily hazard assessments on assigned projects
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute safety input
• Conduct radio checks with crews using mobile radios

Requirements:

• Unrestricted ACoP PCP registration and E&O insurance
• Current Drug and Alcohol Clearance
• Valid Class 4 or Class 5 driver’s license
• Clean current Driver’s Abstract
• CSA boots, task-specific gloves, and cold-weather clothing
