Sport Programming Leader In Training

Kickstart a career with MLSE as a Leader-In-Training on the Sport Programming Team. Engage with youth, design programs, and make a lasting impact through sport this summer.
This role provides a unique opportunity for enthusiastic youth aged 15-17 to participate in a 7-week job placement after thorough training at MLSE LaunchPad. You will help develop and lead summer programs that are fun and impactful for the community, embodying the 'Youth First, Always' philosophy. Prepare for a rewarding experience that not only builds skills but also fosters growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and organize engaging summer programs
• Ensure all activities are fun and age-appropriate
• Facilitate coaching and programming effectively
• Arrive prepared and follow lesson plans daily
• Communicate program needs with MLSE LaunchPad staff
Requirements:
• Available for age 15-17
• Obtain parent or guardian consent if under 18
• Enrolled in high school or post-secondary schooling
• Passionate about working with youth in sports
• Positive attitude required
