Superintendent (Civil Engineering)

• Assist in preparing bids and in planning and organizing civil engineering projects.
• Manage resources and monitor the progress of work.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and safe work practices (OHS, environment).
• Supervise and mentor construction site teams.
• Manage risks, resolve problems, and ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets, and contractual requirements.
• Produce and approve daily reports.
• Ensure the quality of the work and conduct a final review of the project to provide recommendations

Qualifications

• CCQ certification (preferred).
• 5 to 10 years of experience in team management in the construction industry (civil engineering).
• Solid knowledge of construction site techniques, blueprint reading, and surveying.
• Proven ability to lead multiple teams and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Rigorous adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
