Pharmacy Assistant Prescription Data Entry

Support pharmacy customers through accurate prescription data entry, patient greetings, and careful medication dispensing at Real Canadian Superstore. Flexible hours may include evenings and weekends.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will confirm prescription information, enter patient care data, and support accurate dispensing. You will also handle third party adjudication when necessary, maintain stock through inventory control systems, and respond to general over the counter enquiries. Referral to the Pharmacist is required where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and confirm pertinent prescription information
• Enter patient care information accurately into pharmacy systems
• Complete third party adjudication when necessary
• Dispense prescription medications accurately
• Maintain pharmacy stock through inventory control systems

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Assistant experience is an asset
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficient computer and data entry skills
• Flexibility for varied hours, including weekends
