Food Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist oversees quality programs and production-process compliance in a food manufacturing environment. This position requires at least three years of quality assurance experience, plus experience with HACCP, GMPs, and regulatory compliance. The specialist analyzes quality data, resolves non-conformities, supports audits, and trains plant employees. A two-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is required, while a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee plant-level quality assurance and food safety programs
• Lead HACCP, GMP, GLP, and food safety system improvements
• Analyze quality data and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate audits, verifications, and audit-readiness documentation
• Train employees on quality and food safety requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum three years’ quality assurance experience in food manufacturing
• Associate degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
• Experience with HACCP, GMPs, and regulatory compliance
• HACCP plan implementation experience preferred
• HACCP, SQF Practitioner, PCQI, or third-party certification preferred
