Construction Carpenter Building Systems

Build foundations, walls, and roof systems as a Construction Carpenter using measuring tools and hand tools. Travel between varying work locations is required.

This Carpenter position requires one to less than two years of experience and English language ability. Work spans construction, renovation, commercial, and residential settings. You will prepare layouts according to building codes, assemble wood and lightweight steel materials, and complete installations and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare building-code-compliant layouts with measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join construction materials
• Build foundations, floors, walls, and roof systems
• Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
• Repair and renovate wooden structures and residences

Requirements:

• One to less than two years of experience
• English language ability
• Experience using hand tools
• Own transportation and willingness to travel
• Ability to handle heavy loads physically
