Senior Staff Accountant Financial Statements

Prepare corporate financial statements and reconcile accounts as a Senior Staff Accountant at Baker Tilly in Collingwood, Ontario. Hybrid work is available.

This permanent, full-time opportunity combines audit, review, and compilation work with client accounting software updates. You will post to general ledgers, review reports, plan files, and manage deliverables. The position also involves personal client service and junior staff mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare corporate audit, review, and compilation statements
• Update client accounting software and post general ledgers
• Reconcile accounts and review financial reports
• Collaborate on file planning and completion
• Provide attentive client service and mentor junior staff

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of public accounting experience
• CPA designation or working toward CPA considered an asset
• Experience managing large engagements
• Proficiency in accounting and tax
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Caseware, and TaxPrep considered an asset
