Senior Living Engagement Assistant

Support resident wellness at Aspira in Kingston as a temporary part-time Resident Engagement Assistant with strong communication and organization skills.

Sienna Senior Living seeks a Resident Engagement Assistant to help residents live fully through lifestyle wellness experiences. You will support events, outings, fitness programming, and leisure activities while maintaining resident documentation and engagement records. The position serves seniors in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track participation and engagement data according to organizational guidelines
• Update events, posters, calendars, and leisure bulletin boards
• Maintain organized, tour-ready leisure areas and equipment
• Coordinate with volunteers, students, and community groups
• Follow infection control, health, safety, and emergency procedures

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in gerontology, kinesiology, recreation, or health sciences
• Experience working with seniors and understanding leisure principles
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Current CPR and First Aid certificate
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual technologies
