Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

Manage customer receivables at NEXT Supply through accurate collections, account reconciliation, and professional communication with customers and colleagues.

The Collections Specialist manages an assigned portfolio while supporting healthy cash flow. Responsibilities include overdue follow-up, payment arrangements, reconciliations, dispute resolution, and documentation. The role works with Cash Application, sales, and other departments to address account issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer accounts following accounts receivable policies
• Follow up on overdue accounts and missed commitments
• Negotiate payment arrangements and secure repayment
• Reconcile accounts and direct unapplied credits
• Document collection actions and customer correspondence

Requirements:

• Five or more years of credit and collection experience
• Experience working in a high-volume environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
• ERP proficiency; Infor SXE is an asset
