Part Time Light Duty Cleaner

GDI offers a part time Light Duty Cleaner role focused on floor care, vacuuming, washroom cleaning, and safe facility maintenance.

This cleaner supports GDI’s integrated facility maintenance services across assigned buildings. Duties include cleaning hard surfaces, carpets, kitchens, and washrooms while handling garbage and recycling. The role requires equipment use, preventative maintenance, training, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, wash, and buff floors and stairwells
• Vacuum carpets and matting in offices and common areas
• Clean and disinfect washrooms, kitchens, and kitchenettes
• Empty containers and transport garbage and recycling
• Replenish consumables and monitor possible facility defects

Requirements:

• Take direction and work with minimal supervision
• Function cooperatively as part of a team
• Use cleaning tools and equipment effectively
• Bring attention to detail, organization, energy, and endurance
• Pass a Criminal Record Check and maintain reliable transportation
