Pharmacy Technical Assistant Prescriptions

Support pharmacy clientele with prescription preparation, empathy, and professionalism in a customer-facing Pharmacy Technical Assistant role. Very good French is required.

This Pharmacy Technical Assistant position focuses on welcoming clientele, identifying prescription needs, and preparing prescriptions. You will also detect potential problems, maintain laboratory hygiene, and prepare pillboxes for some PJC pharmacies. Full paid training is offered, while a Pharmacy Technical Assistance Diploma of Vocational Studies is a strong asset. The position offers several weekly hour ranges, including 35 hours or more, 10 to 30 hours, or less than 10 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome clientele with empathy and professionalism
• Collect data needed for prescription preparation
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential clientele problems
• Prepare pillboxes for some PJC pharmacies
• Maintain laboratory hygiene and tidiness

Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of French
• Pharmacy Technical Assistance Diploma of Vocational Studies is an asset
