Part Time Material Handler II

Handle warehouse materials with RF technology and computer skills as a part time, on call Material Handler II working Monday through Friday.

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, this Material Handler II position supports warehouse operations involving picking, checking, packing, shipping, and put-away. You will operate material handling equipment, update warehouse systems, and follow practices for hazardous materials and dangerous goods. The work includes standing for the full shift, using required personal protective equipment, and lifting goods up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, replenish, pick, pack, ship, and put away orders
• Use RF devices and computer workstations to update systems
• Operate equipment safely around hazardous warehouse products
• Work on conveyor operations and assist with inventory counts
• Complete special projects or supervisor-assigned duties

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of general warehouse experience preferred
• Qualified forklift, order picking truck, or reach truck operator
• Basic computer knowledge and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and follow GMP safety standards
