Shape Mistplay’s analytics standards with advanced SQL, Python, and senior individual-contributor expertise in a two-day hybrid model. Work from Toronto or Montreal.
As Staff Data Analyst I, you will anchor analytical quality, visualization, monitoring, and user understanding across Mistplay’s analytics team. You will build segments, connect insights to financial goals, and strengthen experimentation practices. The role emphasizes reusable code, rigorous methods, and clear data storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set shared standards for analytical methods, definitions, and quality assurance
- Build reusable dashboards and automated alerts for metric and data issues
- Lead user analysis and create actionable user segments
- Connect insights with revenue, cost, and growth targets
- Mentor analysts and standardize reusable analytical practices
Requirements:
- Advanced SQL for production analytics and dashboard layers
- Python for statistical analysis, automation, and reusable libraries
- Experience improving analytical quality, visualization, and monitoring standards
- Strong behavioral analysis and financial business-outcome understanding
- Experimentation fundamentals, decision narratives, and mentoring experience
