Gasfitter A Propane Systems Technician

Install and service propane systems as a Gasfitter A with Avenir Energy, applying mechanical skills across residential and commercial settings. Year 1 and Year 2 apprentices are also considered.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Gasfitter A supports safe, efficient propane system installation, maintenance, and service. The work includes propane tanks, appliances, vaporizers, and varied system hook-ups. Strong CSA B149 Gas Code knowledge, communication, and problem-solving skills support customer satisfaction and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install propane tanks, appliances, and vaporizers
• Maintain and repair residential and commercial propane systems
• Complete safe, accurate propane hook-ups
• Order parts and complete work orders
• Process invoicing and assist with shop activities

Requirements:

• Gasfitter A certification required
• Year 1 or Year 2 Gasfitter Apprentices considered
• Strong understanding of CSA B149 Gas Codes
• Minimum Class 5 driver’s license
• Strong technical and mechanical skills
