Strathcona Resources Ltd. is seeking students for its Lloydminster Thermal operations team. Reporting to the Steam Chief, you will support plant monitoring, equipment troubleshooting, and daily operations. The four-month term begins in May 2027 and provides practical experience alongside experienced operators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor assigned plant equipment under experienced operator guidance
• Assist with operational and process-related troubleshooting
• Perform housekeeping, equipment monitoring, and basic maintenance
• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures
• Gain hands-on SAGD plant operations experience

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in second-year Power Engineering
• Completed required coursework and examinations
• Hold a 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate
• Hold Saskatchewan-recognized certification or qualify for transfer
• Have a valid Class 5 driver's license
