Chartwell Food Services Cook

Prepare nourishing meals as a Cook at Chartwell, using food preparation expertise and safe handling practices. Casual day and evening roles support a new opening.

As a Chartwell Cook, you will prepare, cook, and plate meals according to menu guidelines. Your work supports residents’ dining experiences through accurate timing, proper temperatures, sanitation, and organized food supplies. Previous food services cooking experience and Food Handler certification are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and plate food following Chartwell menu guidelines
• Comply with public health and safe food handling regulations
• Maintain sanitary preparation areas and kitchen equipment
• Serve meals on time at the correct temperature
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies

Requirements:

• Previous cooking experience in food services
• Food Handler certification
• Effective collaboration as a team member
• Clear communication with internal and external customers
• Ability to stand, lift, and carry heavy items
