SGS Laboratory Sample Coordinator

SGS needs a detail-focused laboratory sample coordinator for routine testing, sample tracking, and analysis under written work instructions.

This General Labourer position supports a specific department under Supervisor direction. You will ensure samples move accurately through LIMS, storage, retrieval, disposal, or client returns. The role also involves calibration records, standards, reagents, equipment maintenance, laboratory supplies, and results evaluation. Quality protocols guide every task.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter samples into LIMS quickly and accurately
• Organize samples for efficient, retrievable storage
• Assist laboratory personnel with sample retrieval
• Return samples to clients or complete disposal
• Monitor equipment maintenance and laboratory supplies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfort handling samples and laboratory equipment
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and with others
