Support children’s safety and play-based learning as a casual Child Care Supply Assistant at Minesing Central P.S. in Minesing.

The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka seeks a Child Care Supply Assistant for as-needed work in a group setting of up to 15 children. This role provides personal care, active supervision, and inclusive support for children, including those with exceptional behaviours and additional needs. You will communicate with families, staff, and volunteers while following YMCA Curriculum and scheduled ratios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide toileting, diaper changing, first aid, and medication support
• Supervise up to 15 children independently in group settings
• Plan and implement YMCA Curriculum play-based learning activities
• Communicate professionally with families, staff, and volunteers
• Support inclusive participation for children with additional needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current Standard or Intermediate First Aid and CPR Level C
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
• Required ongoing opening, closing, or full-day availability
• Ability to lift 20 kilograms and work outdoors year-round
