Job description
Practice as a pharmacist in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley, delivering full-scope care with injections, vaccinations, and chronic disease management. Full or part-time scheduling is available.
Valley Drug Mart Pharmasave seeks a licensed Nova Scotia pharmacist for Kingston and Middleton locations. These community healthcare hubs provide common ailments assessments, INR testing, prescription renewals, and other pharmacy services. Kroll workflow software and pharmacy assistant team members support practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-scope pharmacist services in community locations
- Assess common ailments and manage chronic diseases
- Perform INR testing, injections, and vaccinations
- Complete prescription renewals and related pharmacy services
- Use Kroll workflow pharmacy software
Requirements:
- Licensed pharmacist in Nova Scotia
- Current injection permit
- Availability for full or part-time practice
- Availability for some evening and weekend shifts
- Commitment to continuing education support
