Geophysics Software Development Manager
Lead geophysics software delivery at Seequent with technical leadership, people management, and hybrid work from the local office two days weekly. Reporting to the Director, Software Development, Geoscience, you will lead one or more teams delivering scalable, secure software solutions. The role combines agile development, strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will support engineering excellence across development centres and functions. Key Responsibilities:
Build teams through hiring, mentoring, career development, and performance management Translate strategic goals into actionable software development roadmaps Coordinate architecture, cloud infrastructure, SRE, security, and product collaboration Embed security, compliance, availability, disaster recovery, and incident response Lead developer experience and operational efficiency improvements using generative AI tools Requirements:
At least 10 years of software engineering experience At least 3 years leading teams directly or indirectly Experience with agile development methodologies Excellent interpersonal and cross-team communication skills Flexibility across global time zones and occasional Tier 3 support Bring software engineering leadership, geophysics delivery, agile methods, and team development to Seequent’s global technology organization.
