As a Distribution Quotation Specialist, you will interpret project requirements and coordinate quotations for Robertson Electric Wholesale. The work combines electrical products, power and controls knowledge with strategic thinking and detailed analysis. You will also support project handoffs after job awards while communicating with customers, vendors, purchasing, and field associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert written specifications and construction drawings into quotations
- Determine cost-effective options meeting project specifications
- Respond to customer requests and inquiries
- Build profitable vendor and supplier relationships
- Maintain product quote files within the quotations program
Requirements:
- EIT, CET, or PMP graduate, or three years’ related experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical products, power, and controls
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and detail-oriented skills
- Strong computer skills using MS Suite, File Maker, and AS400
