Production Planning and Inventory Analyst

Production planning and SAP expertise shape this Production Planner role with Lactalis Canada, coordinating schedules, materials, inventory, and customer demand.

The Planner manages production planning and scheduling across multiple manufacturing lines. You will balance days of supply, inventory investment, productivity, packaging requirements, and customer expectations. The position supports Parmalat customers through analytical planning, cross-functional communication, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create production schedules using capacity and packaging analysis
• Plan raw materials and finished goods quantities
• Coordinate packaging counts, system entries, and purchases
• Monitor production volumes against required availability
• Reconcile plant variances and complete period activities

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Materials Management or related business
• Three to five years of production inventory experience
• Proficiency with SAP and logistics or distribution software
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
