Banff Custodial Building Services Worker

Keep Banff Centre facilities clean through custodial services, rotating schedules, and careful attention to public and office areas across campus.

Banff Centre seeks a Building Services Worker for a term position ending April 30, 2027. You will perform front line custodial and care-taking duties in classrooms, halls, lounges, offices, kitchens, and other campus spaces. The work includes cleaning floors, surfaces, washrooms, and windows while supporting a high quality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout assigned campus areas
• Dust and sanitize countertops and tables
• Wash windows and window ledges
• Clean toilets, sinks, showers, and change-rooms
• Empty garbage and collect recyclables

Requirements:

• Understand and apply general cleaning practices
• Work independently with minimal direction after training
• Prioritize changing daily campus tasks effectively
• Communicate well with clients and fellow staff
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
