Early Learning Childcare Educator Level 3

Bring child-centered programming and inclusive care to Community Options as an Early Learning Childcare Educator supporting children aged 12 months to five years.

As an Alberta Early Childcare Educator Level 3, you will provide high-quality care and early education within a collaborative team. Plan creative programming, support play-based learning, and promote children’s well-being, growth, and learning. Maintain respectful communication with families and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan flexible programming based on children’s interests and developmental stages
• Support development through planned and spontaneous play-based learning
• Prepare materials and equipment for daily programming
• Supervise indoor and outdoor activities in changing weather
• Maintain safe, healthy, emotionally secure environments

Requirements:

• Alberta Early Childcare Educator Level 3 certification
• Early Learning Childcare Diploma or equivalent education and experience
• Experience working with children aged 12 months to five years
• Current Alberta Intervention Record Check
• Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check and valid childcare first aid
