Job description
Support automotive logistics as a part-time Security Guard at Formet Industries, working on-site in St. Thomas, Ontario. Monitor traffic, systems, and patrols.
Paladin Security offers a part-time assignment at a manufacturing facility serving the automotive sector. This Security Guard position covers inbound and outbound access control, outdoor truck inspections, and foot patrols. The successful candidate communicates professionally, maintains composure, and records security activity clearly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and log truck traffic in changing outdoor weather
- Safeguard personnel, equipment, and property through foot patrols
- Apply CTPAT access procedures for visitors and contractors
- Handle safety hazards, incident calls, and emergency services
- Provide guidance and assistance to site personnel
Requirements:
- Ability to perform outdoor duties in all weather
- Ability to remain composed during high-pressure situations
- Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Strong English communication and basic computer skills
- Previous industrial security or CTPAT experience preferred
