Shopping Centre Security Manager

Lead security operations at a major Burnaby shopping centre, using incident investigation and team leadership to support safety and customer service.

Paladin Security seeks a full-time Security Manager for an on-site retail environment with high foot traffic. You will oversee daily operations, guide supervisors and guards, and maintain compliance with safety standards, contracts, and service agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily security operations and policy compliance
• Review investigations, resolve complaints, and direct corrective action
• Coach supervisors and guards toward accountability and professionalism
• Maintain Occupational Health and Safety and contractual compliance
• Build client relationships through reporting and site inspections

Requirements:

• At least five years of security experience
• Two years in supervisory or leadership roles
• Experience managing staffing, scheduling, evaluations, and development
• Knowledge of investigations, emergency response, and customer service
• Microsoft Office, Genetec, and Avigilon proficiency
