CAD Product Development Designer

Apply strong CAD capability to product development at Masco Canada’s onsite St. Thomas, Ontario office. Create precise designs for manufacturing.

This junior designer supports new and existing product development through detailed modeling and engineering drawings. The position emphasizes accurate technical documentation, performance, quality, manufacturability, and design verification. You will work with engineers and cross-functional teams on launches, testing, cost reduction, and design improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D models for new products
• Revise existing models and engineering drawings
• Define fits, dimensional stack-ups, and surface finishes
• Maintain design documentation under internal standards
• Contribute to cost reduction and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree
• One to two years of relevant design experience
• Accurate CAD design skills and technical documentation
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Detail orientation and effective problem-solving skills
