Executive Administrative Assistant Information Technology

Support MacEwan University’s AVP and CIO through confidential administration, calendar coordination, and professional communication on campus. This full-time replacement term role requires organization and discretion.

As Administrative Assistant to the AVP and CIO, you will support Information Technology Services leadership and the Senior Manager, IT Business Operations. The work includes coordinating schedules, meetings, events, communications, and office administration. You will also prepare briefs, correspondence, workflow documents, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the AVP’s calendar, schedules, meetings, and strategic priorities
• Develop organizational procedures, guides, and business workflow documents
• Coordinate special events, campus guests, and leadership activities
• Reconcile purchasing card transactions and support expense reconciliation
• Research and prepare briefing notes, correspondence, and background materials

Requirements:

• Diploma in Office or Business Administration or related field
• Minimum three years of progressively responsible administrative experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google applications, and ERP systems
• Strong organizational, prioritization, communication, proofreading, and editing skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with judgment and discretion
