Senior Platform Program Director

Drive platform adoption and strategic roadmaps as a Program Director at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, fully remote from any US state. Lead cross-functional delivery across business units. This leadership role manages enterprise programs supporting platform features, customer value, usage, and gross renewal rate. You will partner with product management, design, engineering, marketing, sales, and support. Lean Agile methods, roadmap planning, and data-informed prioritization shape the work. Key Responsibilities:

Develop long-term platform roadmaps with cross-functional stakeholders Break initiatives into projects, plans, and timelines Manage schedules, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies Champion adoption, usage, NPS, and customer outcomes Guide enterprise digital projects from conception through launch Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of program management experience 10 years using Lean and Agile methodologies Knowledge of development processes and best practices Proficiency with Jira and Smartsheet PMP and Certified Scrum Master qualifications Lead HMH platform programs through roadmap governance, Agile execution, stakeholder communication, and customer-focused prioritization.
