Senior Living Cleaning Attendant

Cleaning professionals can support resident wellbeing through sanitation and detailed housekeeping at Cogir Senior Living retirement residences. The work centers on apartments and shared spaces.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you will clean resident apartments and common areas while following residence policies and safe working practices. Duties include floor maintenance, garbage transport, documentation, and required training. The position involves working in a position of trust with vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures
• Maintain kitchens, washrooms, furniture, walls, ceilings, and windows
• Use steam cleaning and floor care equipment
• Prepare documentation according to residence policy
• Attend training and staff meetings as required

Requirements:

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
• Ability to provide day-to-day feedback
• Good oral and written English communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in a second language is an asset
