NCSO Construction Safety Coordinator

Apply your NCSO certification and civil construction experience as a Health & Safety Coordinator in person at the Garden City Skyway.

Under the Health & Safety Manager, you will apply the site-specific H&S Plan and monitor operational performance. The full-time project role supports Skyway Bridging Partners, a joint venture involving Construction Demathieu & Bard, GIP, and Flatiron Dragados. Your work covers incident investigation, training, inspections, emergency response, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee safety orientation, inspections, first aid, and incident reports
• Monitor employees and subcontractors for safety procedure compliance
• Identify hazards and implement corrective measures
• Review contractor safety submittals and maintain records
• Compile project health and safety statistics

Requirements:

• National Construction Safety Officer certification is mandatory
• At least five years’ civil construction experience
• Experience investigating incidents and analyzing causes
• Training delivery experience using multiple methods
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook skills
