This Clinical Practice Educator supports the Emergency Department through nursing education and instruction. The role uses adult education principles, nursing theory, and leadership concepts within a clinical specialty. It provides clinical guidance, resource support, and practice guidance to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing education and instruction to staff
• Provide nursing education to patients and clients
• Apply adult education principles and philosophy
• Provide clinical guidance and resource support
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Advanced nursing knowledge in a clinical specialty
• Understanding of nursing theory and leadership concepts
• Ability to apply the nursing process
• Availability Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00
• Ability to work in Penticton, BC
