Senior Unreal Engine UI Programmer

Build Unreal Engine UI tooling with C++ and AI-powered workflows at Epic Games, shaping systems used by creators worldwide. This senior role focuses on editors, frameworks, and runtime capabilities.

As a Senior Tools Programmer, you will develop next-generation UI tools for authoring, iteration, and debugging. You will own UI technology in a large codebase while supporting WYSIWYG editors and runtime UI capabilities. The work serves game and tool development across Unreal Engine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design AI-powered tools for UI authoring, iteration, and debugging
• Own and evolve Unreal Engine UI technology code
• Set technical direction and mentor other programmers
• Profile and resolve UI performance and memory issues
• Support Epic teams and Unreal Engine licensees

Requirements:

• Strong tools-programming experience improving development workflows
• Deep expertise in UI frameworks, engines, and WYSIWYG tooling
• Excellent C++ skills in large codebases
• Hands-on exposure to AI-powered or agentic workflows
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
