As General Merchandise Assistant Manager, you support the Store Manager and manage operations according to Company guidelines. You lead Associates, drive profitable sales, oversee operational plans, and respond to market changes. The position requires attention to safety, compliance, asset protection, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales through goals, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Prioritize operational plans and direct Managers and Associates
• Maintain merchandise presentation, pricing, and store standards
• Monitor safety, quality assurance, compliance, and asset protection
• Resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues within guidelines

Requirements:

• Ability to manage store operations according to Company guidelines
• Ability to lead Associates through direction and feedback
• Ability to analyze sales and financial reports
• Ability to maintain safety, security, and record keeping procedures
• Ability to handle merchandise and cash controls
