Veterinary Assistant Cattle Health

Cattle health and digital records define this Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist role with TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods in Southern Alberta. Support bovine practitioners and nutritionists across multiple locations.

This position combines veterinary administration, reception, and cattle health operations. You will support digital necropsies, health data collection, producer relationships, scheduling, pharmaceutical deliveries, and client orders. Administrative experience, computer proficiency, communication, and organization are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with veterinary consultants on digital necropsies
• Collect accurate cattle health data for producers
• Schedule appointments, meetings, travel, and accommodations
• Manage pharmaceutical deliveries and regulatory compliance
• Process client orders, invoicing, inventory, and shipments

Requirements:

• Previous office administrative experience
• Clean, valid full Class 5 Driver's License
• Computer proficiency for digital health records
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong communication, judgment, and organizational skills
