Division Three Math Science Teacher

Teach Division Three mathematics and science at Calgary Girls Charter School in a full-time temporary position beginning November 16, 2026.

This teacher supports girls and young women through middle school math and science instruction. The position emphasizes inquiry, authentic challenges, diversity, equity and inclusion, and intentionally designed learning opportunities. Teaching continues through June 30, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach mathematics and science at the middle school level
• Engage students through inquiry and authentic real-world challenges
• Create safe, caring, inclusive learning environments
• Design intentional learning opportunities for student success
• Use media and technology to support learning

Requirements:

• Background and experience teaching middle school math and science
• Strong understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Cover letter, resume, and three professional references
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check within three months
