Civil Engineering Technologist Co-op Student

Develop civil design skills at CIMA+ through field surveys, inspections, and computer-aided drawing production. This co-op works in Saskatchewan project settings.

As a Civil Technologist Co-op Student, you will support engineers and project managers across water, wastewater, municipal, and land development projects. The internship offers multidisciplinary exposure in a mentoring environment emphasizing accountability, autonomy, and trust. You will contribute from studies through warranty services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance through field surveys and inspections
• Complete design and drafting under supervision
• Support condition assessments and preliminary designs
• Assist detailed designs, procurement, and construction administration
• Contribute to commissioning and warranty services

Requirements:

• Study in a Civil Engineering Technologies program
• Complete the program’s second year
• Available for a 12 to 16 month term
• Work full time in CIMA+’s office when not onsite
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license
