Food Service Supervisor

FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR NOC 62020

Position within McDonald’s Restaurants, Thunder Bay, ON (Cumberland St.).

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Hire food service staff.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies.
• Ensure food service quality control.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.

Support for Youths

• On‑job training tailored to youth.
• Mentorship, coaching and networking opportunities.
• Awareness training to employees to create a welcoming environment for youth.

Qualifications

• High-school (secondary) graduation certificate.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Employment Details

• Wage: $19.00 per hour.
• Hours: 40 per week.
• Term: Permanent, full time.
• Language: English.
